Project Overview
Further to the Notice of Study Commencement distributed in January 2024, D.M. Wills Associates Limited has been retained by the Ministry of Transportation, to complete the Detail Design for the Structural Rehabilitation of the Howe Island Ferry Terminals. The rehabilitation work will generally include the replacement of the loading ramps and repairs to the existing timber cribs at each ferry terminal location (mainland and island).  

Since commencement, the Project has continued through detail design ,and studies have been completed to support the necessary approval applications to permit construction. Construction is expected to commence in January 2026.
