Howe Island Recycle - "Please note that effective January 1, 2024, the Municipality will no longer be taking refundable items/bottles at the Howe Island Recycle Depot. You will be responsible to return those items to the appropriate location".   

Frontenac Howe Islander Docks Rehabilitation - Update

The County of Frontenac received updated information from the contractor regarding construction timelines and scheduled service interruptions related to the Frontenac Howe Islander. 

• The next full closure is scheduled from Monday, May 11 at 10 pm to Thursday May 14th at 2 pm.
• Two further closures will be required in May to complete the work: Monday, May 18th from 10 pm to Thursday, May 21st at 2 pm; and Monday, May 25th from 10 pm to Thursday, May 28th at 2 pm.

We have received updated information from the contractor regarding construction timelines and scheduled service interruptions related to the Frontenac Howe Islander.
