Howe Island 3-Car Ferry Red Light Protocol
Background:
Several years ago, a RED LIGHT was installed on the Howe Island 3-Car Ferry building facing the mainland. This light was used during regular operating hours and illuminated when the ferry was unable to operate for any reason.
A new red light has now been installed on the ferry building at the Howe Island 3-Car Ferry terminal.
New Protocol:In addition to email notifications and notices posted on X, residents and users are advised that:

Clearwater Structures Inc. has been awarded Contract 2022-4030 for the Howe Island Ferry Terminals
project on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation.
