Howe Island County operated ferry docks rehabilitation project

The County of Frontenac received an update today (February 27, 2026) about projected ferry service interruptions related to the Howe Island County ferry docks rehabilitation project.

 By way of reminders:  

• The first full-closure is scheduled for this Monday, March 2 from 10 pm to Thursday March 5 at 2 pm.
• This work involves the rehabilitation of the ferry docks at both the island and mainland sides.
